Jonathan de Villiers (1875-1944) is the twin brother of Timothy de Villiers, with whom he shared the time travel gene and gemstone. They are the carnelions. Jonathan is the ancestor of Gideon de Villiers, Raphael Bertelin and their father.
Since Jonathan and Timothy were identical twins, they were both time travelers. By their birth their line split into two. During their lifetime the twins made experiments with the chronograph. Jonathan had at least one child, since he has descendants. After Timothy died in 1930, Jonathan survived him with 14 more years.
